- You already have an ITPR demo account. If not, you can easily request one with demo data.

Every time a person leaves, the organization has to make sure that all Configuration Items are returned. To make that easy for all stakeholders of that process we generated an easy automator package that sends out an email that includes the assigned Configuration Items of that particular person.
Up to 30 minutes – testing included.
Every time a person is disabled in ITRP the automator package gets executed and the mail is sent out. I guess (hope) there is not much to explain thanks to the graphical improvements we made in August.
The if condition checks if a person record got updated and the “Disabled” checkbox got ticked. If yes, it loops over the Person’s CIs to collect all items with status “In Production”.
Finally the mail is sent out to my mail address. In my simple case Beatrice for instance should return the following items:
